My scientific interest lies in atmospheric gravity waves, their
representation in climate models,
and their role for the large-scale
dynamics and transport in the atmosphere.
In 2023, I received a Junior Star GAČR grant
Unravelling climate impacts of atmospheric
internal gravity waves
allowing me to establish a gravity wave research
group at MFF UK
(check-out the website above).
I am always
willing to come up with new research topics for batchelor,
master or
doctoral students and help them to aquire funding (GAUK etc.).
Currently there are two open, funded positions in my group, please contact me
for further details.
